This version of Windows 10 is very well optimised to use even with 1GB of RAM.

The new Dell venue 8 pro has 4gb ram, Intel x5 8500, 1920x1200 screen, USB type c. It starts at $299, but the price will drop very fast after 3 months. Mipad 2 might cost $280 + s/h (~$300) through resellers.

pasi, 24 Nov 2015Will it support continuum feature???Since it does not have keyboard connector, I don't think it will have continuum (in tablet which switch between desktop & tablet mode, not phone's continuum which project into larger screen). Surface and other 2-in-1 devices can have it because they tipically detect keyboard connection through the connector. But I might be wrong. To be sure, we need to ask someone who has Windows 10 tablet whether the continuum will kick in when bluetooth keyboard is connected.

Anyway, with that price for those specs, I think it's a good deal for business users. A lot of people needs tablet and small/light laptop for document editing (the full document editing like desktop version of office), using moodle locally to manage courses before synchronize it with school's server, etc. This can't be done on Android, and carrying laptop is kinda heavy. This might be my wife's solution for her aging netbook. I might buy one of this and bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and add 360 subscription and she'll good all she needs.

So we can run pc apps/games?technically it will run. but how it run will depend. also you will need a keyboard with touch pad or mouse to make the games work. also some softwares might need this. as with a surface pro most of them will work without either.
