mas39, 26 Nov 2015In that case you must have an extremely small face and pair of hands, 6" is too too small, sho... moreYou're short but 6.4" is ok for you. Do you have a big head , mammoth hands but small body?
Phones till 5.5" are manageable.
6" is the absolute limit
Anything larger is a tab.
Since the mate 8 has tiny bezels I think it'll be of the same size or shorter than the nexus 6.
Wondering how the cheap Sony chip will perform, 1/2.8 size for a 16mp chip is quite small, they should have better taken the imx234 that lg uses for their g4
Z3 compact user, 26 Nov 2015Yes, specswise very nice phone but way too big. This is more a tablet with a dial pad. The abs... moreYou say 5.5" but are you talking screen or phone body dimensions? Mainly because the Note range usually has 5.7" screens and smaller bodies than some 5.5" phones (Note 3 and the iPhone 6+ for example) and therefore doesn't impact on usage as much as a phone with a larger body.
Alien, 26 Nov 2015I would never pay so much for a chinese phone..
And in one or two months, Snapdragon 820 will... moreThats ur wish not to buy it but declaring it as a worse device just bcz it is from china is not good . Some people don't like sony's devices even before galaxy s6 i hated samsung .
Everybody wants different variety . If Huawei is that bad than it would not have been at 3rd position worlwide in sales . Lately they have done some good . Appreciate it if u like
AnonD-456829, 26 Nov 2015It's 83 percentWow . Amazing at 82% screen to body ratio if componded with stereo speaker would have neen awesome but this is ggod too . That is the reason at 6" its height is smaller than iphone 6s plus which is 5.5" screen ; not to mention it is way smaller than nexus 6p(5.7") but 6P has front firing speakers and 4-5 mm taller than galaxy note 5(5.7") . I think compactness is well achieved by Huawei design .
By the time Huawei P9 comes i hope it would be a device which could compete in every department with top crop :)
I would never pay so much for a chinese phone..
And in one or two months, Snapdragon 820 will be officially out on a serious brand like Sony or Sammy..
And on top of that it's a 6 incher. If i want something so big I'd buy a tablet..

Some guy in the comment section wanted it to be close to 7" like are you out of your cotdamn mind or what?!
AnonD-463876, 26 Nov 2015I know Asians are into mammoth phones but the west isn't. And the iPhone 6+, Samsung Note series and one of this years and last years Nexus is definitely not made for the west!
Bevan86, 26 Nov 2015This Phone will rule Samsung and iPhone. I love the style of this phone, its so Next Level. ... moreIt's a step in the right direction but I don't see it being popular outside of certain Asian markets, it's next level material for a Chinese phone but Samsung/Apple will continue to be global household names and sell very well.
Anonymous, 26 Nov 2015Does anybody know what's the screen-to-body ratio for this device? Those bezels are awesome! It's 83 percent

The abs... moreI have to unfortunately agree, I'm all for big phones but there has to be certain limits and 5.5" is it. Same reason why I didn't like the Nexus 6 even though it was a great all-around phone .
Anonymous, 26 Nov 2015y dont u add another inch and call it a tablet ucrap6" is just too much.
huawei always talk how great is their cpu but when phone releases we see its wrong and benchmarks show low scores, hope kirin 950 be better in future test or else huawei cant sell much
Does anybody know what's the screen-to-body ratio for this device? Those bezels are awesome!
Goddamn. It's like Huawei pulled out their trump card with this device. Staight hot fire, images and performance are going to be MUCH improved.
IMX298 tho...add 2 digits and you get the same sensor found on the 5X and 6P, lol!
