Conclusion, 28 Nov 2015Yeah... Because Samsung isn't known to be cheating benchmark-tests... And people still believe... moreSame like people who buy HTC, Sony, LG, iPhone who has problems but people keep buying. Shame on the world.
Benchmarks of the Exynos 8890 are probably not coming from a SoC installed on a phone. Benchmarks are probably coming from a SoC with a nice cooling fan and maybe overclocking. Is anyway a nice strategy from Samsung to create hype/excitement for a future product.
Conclusion, 28 Nov 2015Yeah... Because Samsung isn't known to be cheating benchmark-tests... And people still believe... moreIf u have a problem pls don't buy samsung instead buy any thing else for samsung we r there
Everything gets higher score with antutu v6.0, so no surprise here.. Even the iphone 6s get 123k score.. Mental..
Conclusion, 28 Nov 2015Yeah... Because Samsung isn't known to be cheating benchmark-tests... And people still believe... moreCheating, is not as well as you say. The Exynos processors the latest, like 5430, 5433 and 7420 have proved in real usage that are fast and have excellent performance. And know the 8890 will go to be a real problem for Qualcomm, Mediatek, Hisilicon and even Nvidia because is a colossus of chipset as in 4G Speed, CPU, graphics, RAM and internal memory. You don't understand that is over for Qualcomm and other chipset manufacturers?
AnonD-463876, 28 Nov 2015That's the problem with the idiots that clamor about 810 heating issues, they don't know that ... moreSays the idiot who also dont know that the same generic architecture was used by Samsung in their exynos7420 yet that SoC doesnt overheat like SD810!Poor implementation of QC has nothing to do with their previous custom cores, and yes SD810 is a crap that heats up quickly and trothles down even quicker. There was simply no choice for manufacturers but to used it(sd810) even if it was known well before that was flawed(LG&Samsung acknowled this even before its realise). On the other hand Qualcomm custom architecture was revolutionary in 2011/12,in the next 3 years they dont make nothing but to increase the L1 L2 cashe and bump the frequencies up.... Thats how they got stuck behind Apple and even Sammy.
Yeah... Because Samsung isn't known to be cheating benchmark-tests... And people still believe in them and buy their products. Shame, shame on the consumers of these lousy products.
Anonymous, 28 Nov 2015iOS and Android are completely different platforms. iOS is much lighter than Android and that'... moreAndroid a failure?! iOS gets to have the multitasking and the use of flash drives, as internal as external like Android? And the freedom of Android has and iOS hasn't? You already thought in the silliness that you said? Seems that you are from other planet.
james, 28 Nov 2015I am tired of hearing things like lag compared to ios etc. IOS lags, android lags even windows ... moreiOS lags? who said that!?
Anonymous, 28 Nov 2015103.6k antutu points yet Apple and the review sites will say that their chip is faster....lol iOS and Android are completely different platforms. iOS is much lighter than Android and that's why it requires less CPU power and less RAM to operate but still more powerful than androids. Android is just a failure.
AnonD-463876, 28 Nov 2015That's the problem with the idiots that clamor about 810 heating issues, they don't know that ... moreIt's the rushed switch part which probably had some bad implementation... Not the fact that it was not custom cores.
And obviously the mediatek and kirin chip are doing quite well. Which makes it ironic you talking about others being hurt fans
AnonD-463876, 28 Nov 2015Maybe because Exynos isn't developer friendly and a bitch to make custom ROM's for? I for one ... moreExynos has plenty of room support on most devices prior
Sushant Sic, 28 Nov 2015Agree with you... Samsung chips had outclassed Qualcomm in a recent time... 810 was a biggest ... moreWhat an antiquated way of thinking, that's because they stopped using their own core architecture in the 808/810 models and restarted again in the 820's with Kryo just like they did before with Krait. All Sammy did was take advantage of the situation, which is fine. Big brands has and always will use SD's because they know it's reliable. Go back to using your cheap poor knockoffs noob.
AnonD-442287, 28 Nov 2015i'd rather have the same or a bit more performance in newer chipsets coupled with a decrease i... moreYou could always put power saving mode on all the time, that under clocks the CPU. Or you could root and manually under clock the CPU. But of course the gains wouldn't be the same as if it was designed specifically for efficiency.
I'm thinking SD820 will be more efficient while being weaker, but only time can tell. If the s7 launches with both hopefully we will see some in depth analysis by anandtech and since it's the same phone we can make proper comparisons.
AnonD-337419, 28 Nov 2015in snapdragon flagship models they used krait400 and krait450 architecture but for s810 they u... moreThat's the problem with the idiots that clamor about 810 heating issues, they don't know that QC isn't using custom core designs like the 801/805 series because they rushed to release a 64-bit cpu to compete against Apple, even then the 810 is nothing to laugh about since it performs very well (otherwise it wouldn't be in most major flagships) I expect Kryo to be a beast in real world performance and gaming whereas Exynos will remain the benchmark king. Also as you alluded to SD's are third party ROM friendly which is always a plus. You can do no wrong with either chipsets, way better than generic ass Chinese ones that's for damn sure.
Anonymous, 28 Nov 2015Lags a lot? Lol sureNo lag with s6 here.
Anonymous, 28 Nov 2015Good for Samsung that it's Exynos chipset is ramping up to become an all time undivided succes... moreMaybe because Exynos isn't developer friendly and a bitch to make custom ROM's for? I for one am glad they're releasing two variants.
Anonymous, 27 Nov 2015SD820 seems already outdated. only thing it will have in its favor is the GPU with adreno 530... moreDon't get your panties in a bunch obvious hater, the Mi5 is scheduled for a Feb release along with a lot of other major handsets like Sammy which is releasing both Exynos and SD versions of their flagship phones...where's Krillin, MediaCrap at though?
AnonD-450096, 27 Nov 2015RIP Snapdragn :)SD 820 will do just fine, not better but it'll handle its own...Kirin on the other hand loool
TouchWiz will definitely bog it down, for sure...
