Anonymous, 28 Nov 2015higher is better ~i'd rather have the same or a bit more performance in newer chipsets coupled with a decrease in battery usage. that would be better.

No system is perfect. And most Android phones barely lag. And ios has its crashing issues

I am tired of hearing things like lag compared to ios etc. IOS lags, android lags even windows phone lags. This benchmark scores are just a show off of how powerful the chip is, it's up to the devs how to optimize the software because you can't optimize the software if the problem is the hardware. High benchmark score's combined with low power dissipation makes things more pleasant to the ear. If the new s7 chip could score high and at the same time it is power efficient then it is really a good chip for mobile. Because the main issues of phones are heating, battery performance. If they can make a phone that doesn't heat even while playing intensive games and last long, then it is truly a jump in the technology.

This SOC's performance can be easily increased by adding some cores, increasing the frequency etc but as the benchmark number goes higher it becomes a power hog also. Don't get too excited about this numbers because when it's out maybe you bought a phone with a flat iron inside.

It's probably quite a stretch to say it's because of their chipset but who knows.

Has the S6 since it launch, never experienced lag or over heating issues. So just shut up if you don't have one. S6 is a killer in front of the iPhone.

This benchmarks are just a unimportant mesurment for example Exynos 7420(S6) destroys Snapdragon 808(G4), but in real speed test things are intresting in opening aplications exynos is faster, but in reopening this apps snapdragon humiliates exynos, but i think UI optimatisation mattered also here.

Sushant Sic, 28 Nov 2015Agree with you... Samsung chips had outclassed Qualcomm in a recent time... 810 was a biggest ... morein snapdragon flagship models they used krait400 and krait450 architecture but for s810 they used standard arm architecture which raised heating issues with os incompatibility. but some companies like sony, microsoft adapted the os and took measures to prevent overheating. in real life many people wanted to root and customize their phones and exynos cant support cyanogenmod, root only important features besides snapdragon supports them like a charm(even custom roms should be taken into consideration). exynos is known for its bad ram management(javascript delay) which causes unexpected lags.
