I am not Huawei fans and never own any Huawei phone as Huawei until now don't have phone meet my requirement.
I buy before Sony, HTC, LG, Samsung, Moto, Mi and now using Samsung Galaxy Note5.
Sony camera is not good until where since Z series, now still the same, is not the Sony sensor bad but is Sony photo process terrible.

I know I have let my opinion at Huawei page, because that is true and fact the Huawei Mate 8 with back fingerprint reader not so convenience.

I play and compare before, a lot bad thing on the output, side blur, edge blur, noise, wrong white balance indoor auto.
The only great is wide view but useless as side edge blur.

Haven't you heard of Instagram? I guess you are a non users. There is so many purpose for a good camera rather than just emohasizing on content alone. Making the content itself is what people do these day.

Sorry, this article is meh! What is it with the steep price comment? You can already get ths phone for under (just) £500! How is that steep compared to £789 for the iFruit 6s Plus or north of £700 for the S6 Edge (128gb) even at the RRP of £629, this phone is not steeply priced. If you are broke and can't afford it, there is the out door, walk through it! Jeez.....Trolls everywhere hating on Sony!

Better screen? You've got a better contrast ratio - yes. Oh and people can view a Samsung screen diagonally....and get the same amount of light.
But I'm serious about being able to watch 4K content on the phone. I want something better than 1080p but QHD isn't the way to go, because the content providers would rather just stream out 4K.
As for the cameras - seriously - while camera photo quality is important, you have to remember that in general people care more about the content on their screen than a camera they generally don't use that much. I must take just a handful of pictures each month. I can't remember the last time I shot a video on a mobile phone and actually kept it.
Of course, I still want to be able to take high quality pictures and videos - I want those features and I've got them.
But I'm not going to buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, just because the camera is marginally better.
It all goes back to the screen. QHD is not going to be around for long. I cannot see content providers catering for it in the long run. This time next year the world will be 720, 1080, 4K/UHD.
Then there is Virtual Reality - Google Cardboard and all that....and guess which phone is now the top dog for VR? Yup the Xperia Z5P.
The only thing I really could have done with - I admit - is wireless charging. You see USB charging isn't a problem at first....but when a phone gets to 2 years of age, it takes it toll on the phone. For me, the selling point of wireless charging, isn't convenience. It's the fact that there is no wear and tear.
There is also the question of a Micro-SD port. None on the Galaxy S6.
Believe you me. When you're sat at home, downloading high quality movies on a fibre-optic internet connection - 32GB doesn't last long!
Being able to pay by phone. Yes very nice. Had it on my HTC One M7 via EE. Now I don't. I miss it. But it will be back on the Z5 in time when Android Pay comes out.
So you see, it really does depend on which features are important and it has to be weighed up.
I thought long and hard before I bought my Z5 Premium. I weighed it all up. The Z5 has more to offer me than the Samsung Galaxy S6....which of course is a very nice phone.
Had the S6 a MicroSD port, was less curvy and more square and rugged - I would have sacrificed 4K for the S6.

Bought it. Love it!
Was on a HTC One M7 before.
I wasn't even going to buy a phone...but I had all sorts of issues with my old HTC One M7...so I did my research, compared specs etc.
As far as styling is concerned, it's a personal thing. Fortunately I happen to like the black slab look of the Sony Xperia Z series - especially the Z5..I hate corners that are overtly rounded.
Other phones (I won't name brands to avoid a fanboy bunfight) are too fragile and just doesn't look right for my tastes.
Honestly, if you actually physically hold a real Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it feels like you could use it as an offensive weapon to knock someone out in a brawl!
The fingerprint scanner is amazing - It really does make me quick on the draw to get into the phone, look something up, then put down again.
The screen is amazing - I've watched loads of stuff in bed every night....Amazon Prime is great on this device, because you can zoom in to get rid of the letterbox effect and still you get your video upscaled to 4K. "Man of Steel" and "300" are amazing movies to watch on it.
And the sounds! If you've got one (Or any other type of Z5), watch the film "Gravity" on it. You'll hear sounds that you simply didn't hear when you watched the film on a normal TV set or even on another high end smartphone.

I have the Xperia z5 premium since 2 weeks now and it livs up to all my exceptions its an excellent device i use it every days i didnt have experience any overheating issues

What's wrong with that? that just shows that they're way ahead of their competition, while others are trying countless designs just to see if they can make something good. Xperia line is 2015 award-winning design.

who says this phone is hot, should leave this planet because what is there to be hot?? it's the same design that was introduces ages before with original Z. Moreover, it's 4k policy doesn't even qualify for 'ridiculous'! The best (meh!) part is its price :D :D

The Premium comes with a premium price to pay. In Pakistan, the Z5 is priced at $690 equal to the iPhone 16GB and the Z5P isn't available yet and as i can foresee, it will be more than $700 for sure.
High price & bad marketing can conclude the striving condition of Sony right now otherwise their phones work amazingly with almost no lags and a battery which can last a day (literally) unlike other brands. Xperias have always been underrated, people should use it first then bad mouth about them.
