There's nothing appealing about it, unfortunately. Overpriced also. Nothing premium, just some things sounding ok on paper.

4k mode only activates in galary and some media apps like mx player. Rest gaming ,VR and other things have 1080p resolution. Also 4k content is memory hungry. Movies may take 30 to 50 gb of space. Even pictures take 20 mb. Also in india and some other countries, internet speed is not enough to buffer even 1080p videos on youtube. So sony rushed this thing. I would rather choose z5 compact.

somehow i cannot get over tha poor battery life, even considering web pages were in FHD and even then it didnt last long. Will see if L950 do better.

the steep pricing aside . .. hahaha. .. the screen is just FHD unless you got some actual 4K content. . . .

It has a stainless steel body that is stronger sturdier and scratch resistant compared to other aluminum (regular z5, iphones, galaxies, htcs etc).. I dont understand why consumers and manufacturers support aluminum build when stainless steel is a clearly better choice. My nokia 6233(legendary stereo speakers) with stainless steel sides works just fine after being thrown to the wall and straight to the tarmac.. Only some scratch on the stainless steel body which was gone after some polish it shines like new.. Hail stainless steel.. Boo aluminum

I've had it for 5 days and I'm happy with it. The only major downside for me is that it's slippery to hold, I'll definitive need to buy a cover of some kind

Out of the z5 ... moreI'd have to agree with two point - medium battery time, and 4k very useless. All you can do is brag how it's 4k, but people will not be able to differentiate it with even 1080p.
Water resistance is about the only thing I like about it.
