Blackberry just using this as an excuse for exit. Who buy this crap anymore!
Good to see its exiting the market to save its face. No one uses it anyway. Government wants to infiltrate and eradicate all terrorist activities and this is a good step. Alas westerners don't want this country to flourish
BB already allow India to tap all BB traffic in India so I guess exiting Pakistan is just to please the Indian government.
Black berry has already failed miserably in Pakistan with almost no customer base. It was otherwise on its self destruction course. This thing has given BB a safe passage for face saving... grapes are sour...:-)
Lame excuse, BB does not exist nor others many clients as whatsapp etc might be giving access. Its all n name of terrisiom.
UAE, Saudi Arabia and Indian Government demanded similar kind of access from BlackBerry back in 2010 but at that time access was granted due to serious threat to ban the BB in their countries.
The truth is there are extremely limited customer base here in Pakistan with no expectation to increase in the numbers anytime in future so BB took this opportunity to exist with excuse in their hands. How pity for BB :P
It's radiculous, idiot government failed to stop terrorism, what the hell biomatric system did?
What is the problem by the way from BES servers to the government?
Pakistan is uprooting all the means using or being used by the terrorist to contact each others if govt want to co operate with them to eliminate terrorism then blackberry should do if not then its ok to at least quit their services...thanks blackberry you helped
Good to see the Goverment is doing such a good work
BB is not giving access is wrong
They dont want to show the truth behind the bars their UK and USA Goverments doing.?
Its Good to kick out BB from my beloved country
Been in that country, an entire population does not own a Blackberry anymore! So, quitting it is like saying "I fire you" to an employee who is already given a resignation! LOL
Virtruvian, 30 Nov 2015Good for Blackberry. Eff Pakistan. Google it
iphone4arab, 30 Nov 2015Why not allow them? BB allowed Saudi Arabia to gain access to its servers !Not the same way as Pakistan.
