Mustafa, 22 Mar 2010Biggest disappointment with the e72 is that it uses the same display as the e71. It's not a ho... moreY would yu need a higher resolution on a 2.4 inch screen. Let's just b real, it's not like viewing pix, documents n videos is a pain on the E72. That resolution works fine, it's practical, energy saving, n easier to replace in case yu damage it somehow. QVGA display is not as bad as many people make it out to be. Yu'd hardly note significant diffrences when its set next 2 yur BlackBerry Storm.
Anonymous, 21 Mar 2010this gonna be a cheap Asian mentality to have 12 MP camera, 32 GB memory, touch screen, etc. I... morevery true

Are you suggesting either the A6188 is NOT considered as touchscreen phone or the brand simply doesn't exist due to the fact you simply don't like it?
aki, 21 Mar 2010hey how dare u to say like that for my country region and don't post something that you really... moreDude as i am also an Asian and I can say, having an expensive handset/smartphone is still a social status, they like to show off the device when ever they can! Many of them don't know all the function, features, real time uses.
The market growth of smartphone is highest in Asia and this could mislead the OEM. Other sense the R&D guys are doing nothing just to provide the product what the market want! Because they are looking to earn billion by investing million of dollar! i am not interested to go through this kind of argument, what is civilized or not. as an example, if my network provider does not have 3G network, then why do I need 3G device with front facing camera :o) if it takes 5 sec to process a picture, also killing my battery (by NOKIA E72 or N97 with 5MP) then why do I need 12MP??? how 32 GB mass memory will help you out with what kind of contents??? music, pic, doc, video, or ...
The smart phone market is very much booming since 2006 and it remains me the IT boom of 2000, which burst 2001. The booming thing can burst very easily that we have had the experience from housing business burst in 2008!
well i am not an economist or smart phone user. i have just a NOKIA 1100, and I am really happy with that :o)
take care
[deleted post]LOL runnning to the phone booth with coins every time LMAO
And to the person steering the conversation away; touchscreen technology arguments have no place in the point that was made regarding Steve Jobs using a Nokia.

During this decade the popular iPaq (not made by Apple by the way) was launched with touchscreens and optional phone attachments. HTC, the leader in touchscreen phones up until the iPhone and makers of phones like the Nexus One launched their first touchscreen phone, the HTC Wallaby aka XDA in 2002. Apple did actually make a concept for a touchscreen phone (not a mobile, a regular landline phone) way back in 1984!
(since replying from my phone will display my ip as t7xi, and have me labeled as the same person with that ip. LOL)
google is our friend.
[deleted post]I did name the made and model based on GSM arena info. Do u have hard facts which Chinese firm first offered a GSM touchscreen phone? What was the made and model i which year?
