Anyone facing issues plz shut down your phone . Hold volume Up , Home button & power button at the same time . Keep these 3 pressed until you see "Recovery booting" in the top left corner. Using the volume keys to go up and down , press volume down until "wipe cache partion" is highlighted & then press the power button to make a wipe. Then use volume up to highlight "Delete factory data/ Full wipe# and press home button to Full Wipe. Once this is done scroll down to "reboot system now" let the device is reboot. You now have an unbricked phone !
This will only work if your are successfully able to enter recovery mode .

LOL I didn't even know it was possible to brick ones phone via official OTA, maybe if you were flashing it from recovery and skipped something.
AnonD-472447, 01 Dec 2015Be careful, I updated my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 yesterday (11/30/2015) and it bricked it. Now ... moreMine did that at 25%. The earlier Note 4 has some known issues but there is a way to continue the process. Mine worked after I pushed all three buttons, power, home button & volumn up. I think that is the process for the factory reset.
Be careful, I updated my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 yesterday (11/30/2015) and it bricked it. Now I am dealing with stupid people at T-Mobile to get a replacement. Looks like I am out of a phone for a few days.

It's recommended to factory reset your phone after a major update. Try that guys and see if fixes anything.

Hi guys, i have manually updated my Note Edgeto Android 5.1.1 but trust me it has useless battery life. Within 7 hours battery drains down to less than 40% Please think before you update your device. I am hoping Android 6.0 Marshmallow improves device battery and performance as comparedto the previous versions.
Thanks
