Good luck to apple on meeting supply demands and why compromise on samsungs supperior product for a supplier who will clearly strugle in shiping the required bulk. This could shrink the launch day availability in certain markets.

16nm vs 14nm, and the 16nm is better, there is certainly something wrong with Samsung's 14nm.

Apple is more concerned with price than quality, else they would be using Samsung's AMOLED.

Samsung's 14nm is superior to TSMC's 16nm no matter how much you want to believe otherwise.

It's only logical for apple to go with the better chipset fabricator. TSMC are actually better than Samsung, so this is the result.

Most people wouldn't know how old the Motorola Droid X is. Saying 5-year-old makes it more impactful about how much Apple fails at making quality products.

Their maps software is a disaster. Their OSX is a laggy POS compared to Windows. All of their components, save for the CPU, is designed by other companies. Apple is only good at making pretty rectangles - That's all they're good for.

                              Foxconn is only an assembler.

                              The others are just repackagers.

Samsung's parts are very high-end and expensive, which is why Apple doesn't want to use their AMOLED panels. Apple wants cheap tech.

Apple doesnt like Samsung but because no one could compete they used them anyway, now they finally found a substandard substitute and are happy to take it.
