While I love the premium builds on the S and Edge class flagships, implementing them on mid range phones seemed unnecessary. It only made them more expensive than they should be.

If they really have the samsung lettering on the front this would be a no-go.
Also the top and bottom bezels look out of proportion and the design is too jewelery-like.

I wonder if Samsung put the BRITECELL camera sensor in these new smartphones. They already make the specs as close as flagship anyway. I like the fact that it have MST payment installed too. Well, there are already article about them integrating it to mid ranger and budget phone in the near future. I guess the articles were true.

I can't believe Samsung is putting OIS in midrange devices, but Google dropped it from the Nexus phones, HTC dropped it after the first of the One devices, Motorola doesn't put it in the Moto X, Apple doesn't put it in the iPhone 6.
OIS should be standard in flagships. But instead they are lagging or going backwards.

Both A-7(2016) and A-5(2016) should have really really been outed with 32 GB internal storage having dual sim slots without sacrificing SIM 2 tray for SD card. That should made both these phones really THE ULTIMATE midrangers. For now, they are just 2 other random phones which have some excitement around them but will disappear in the crowd of other phones with in a couple of months. Sadly.

No Matter, 02 Dec 2015Not protruding camera - means smaller sensor, wich means worse Dynamic Range, worse high ISO s... moreyeh spend some money and get a phone with protruding camera .... didn't u notice the increase in thickness ???? ... it might be possible that the camera module fits correctly without having to protrude

Great move samsung ... now price these correctly so that u can sell these among all those million great choices of mid range devices available currently.

While all the metal and glass looks so lovely I want to EAT IT... I love the Alpha and this looks like a throwback. I really like the idea of the flat sides meaning it can stand on it's own and it doesn't look like an iPhone copycat like the S6, I am waiting.
