The actual original smartphones. They were so much more capable than the original iPhone, they just did not have the touchscreen. People really don't understand how limited the functionality of the original iPhone was compared to the Nokia phones.

And the designs were more fun and interesting in those days. Now it's just variations on one idea, the touchscreen slab. Yes, the touchscreen interface popularized the smartphone and made it more useable. But it also made things more boring.

Before the smartphones became a sensation, it was Nokia which ruled. Initially I also thought what a funny name is Nokia. But believe me Nokia has produced some incomparable gems. The classic E series like E61, E62, E72, E7 , the communicator series were really task oriented. Who can forget the the music and camera oriented N73? Please dont be so narrow minded. Have respect for innovative brands which had the abitlity to change the world.

I hate the name of the company with a passion, but if the price is right (~$400'ish) then they just won themselves a new customer because of those specs, especially the 820/4Gb/64Gb internal combo.
