Virtual, 22 Mar 2010So AT&T is finally getting the Dell Mini3, just with another name. Nice, because this was ... moreI don't see the Backflip as crippled. I don't like their decision to replace google with Yahoo, but I don't see it as crippled. They added AT&T apps just like Verizon did to the Devour so don't use them if you don't want to. Most people won't load apps from outside of the Market so that's not a big deal. Fact is that reception is great and Blur works really well if you like that kinda thing.
In my opinion the iPhone is the most crippled device out there and folks don't seem to complain all that much.

so GSM Pre and Pixi means we will start seeing online sellers for the rest of the world?

so if someone did secure a GSM Pre or Pixi outside US does that mean it will work in other parts of the Word?

David, 22 Mar 2010What's the difference between Palm Pixi Plus and the normal Palm Pixi? Same question goes for ... morethe difference wil be the apps and perhaps features. An example is the nokia e71 vs. Nokia e71x (att version). Att tends to remove the original apps and program and install att aps.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2010Read the news. It's explained inside! As i understood a few days back those upgrades are exclusive for AT&T and their customers, and not the unlocked version of the Pixi and Pre plus.

I was just wondering what makes the unlocked Pixi and Pre plus different from the original?

Let's hope AT&T will help Palm sales with their customers. Prolly not, but I guess there's hope.

So AT&T is finally getting the Dell Mini3, just with another name. Nice, because this was one of the rumored Android phones that were going to be released in this carrier. Let's just hope that they don't cripple it like they did it with the Backflip.
