Wow I'm actually really impressed with the price. For a superAMOLED, 1GHZ processor, 720p video recording with bluetooth 3.0 smartphone, I was expecting it to be in the $800 range.
If this DOES become available in May, I am sold. Very fairly priced.
And also, all of the haters leaving useless comments... lol @ you :)

Who would want a "smartphone" that doesn't even have apps?! I'm sure this sht will BARELY even make it to 100 apps. Heck, this will barely even reach 50. And this is so trying hard to be iPhone. Lame...

Love samsung screens but I would not buy another Samsung phone, the Omnia 2 I8000 has been out for 5 months & it has its problems like all phone when released, but Samsung sill has not released a firmware update to fix simple problems.
All Samsung is interested in is shipping as many different phones out of the factory’s as possible. They are turning into the Toyota of the phone industry, leaving the quality behind & concentrating on the volume.

It would be great if they develop some gps-navi soft for it. than it would be a real contender to WP, android etc. but this OS is young. So we have to wait.

I really like this phone! now im thinking if i gonna buy the HTC desire or this Samsung wave. hope samsung wave has a pocket office like winmo because i use it a lot. And another thing i hope there internet browser is good as in android. and one last thing hope it has flash 10.1 then ill buy this for sure.

Samsung have invested into the New Screen an Software,but its the weaker batteries they need to improve more so there phones deserve there True Value,like to see the Bada software an whats the difference from the other softwares used on mobiles,the new screen better be solid an not break easily as the cost of Samsungs lcd screen are always the most expensive to Replace thats what keeps away from there phones

what does a phone have to do to make you happy? this looks like an amazing piece of kit, and your comments...awww, it's not an iphone! of course it's not an iphone, it's a new piece of kit to help compete in a very competetive market. am i the only one happy that there are new developments being made (new OS, amazing screen technology) rather than releasing 1 phone a year that isn't that different to the previous handsets and only fixing issues which shouldn't have been issues in the first place?!
anyways, rant over. just give the phone a shot as it looks awesome!
