It updated the Xperia Z (not the Z1) all the way to Lollipop 5.1.1, despite having an older Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.
Is Lollipop 5.1.1 and Android 5.1.1 different? I am 100% sure the Xperia Z1 already got Android 5.1.1. Unless you are using Xperia Z1s specially made for T-mobile.
