Anonymous, 04 Dec 2015That's how Apple gets its income: sueing companies, not selling phones. Shame on you.I agree. When I first heard of Apple I always thought it was a law firm company because they always involved in court cases and sueing activity. I wonder what they really do? It seem their main job is to target only at Samsung and sueing them as much as they can meanwhile HTC and Oppo get away with a complete iphone 6 clone without getting sued at all. It just too obvious Apple are such a money grubber company.

Look at Intel, Sandy Bridge built on 32nm planar, Skylake on 14nm FinFET yet only 25% IPC increase over 4.5 years.

Chips have a 12 month life cycle, and are a product that has very fast tech advancements, having over 6 months more time means your product should be better. However the only good thing about the a9 is the GPU, which isn't even Apple's, and it only shines because of the low resolution.

Apple acquired Intrinsity to get that technology. They didn't develop it themselves. Even now, these SoC's are designed by the Intrinsity team, but since they don't have fab units, Samsung manufactures it for them. Almost all of Apple's technology is either outsourced or purchased. Even their multi touch screen tech was acquired by buying out a Finnish company which went bankrupt because this every touch screen tech was a failure due to some design level defects. Even Retina Display is nothing more a buzz word created to market higher resolution displays made by LG.

The other guy is right, by the way. Apple just repackager tech from other companies.
The only component they designed was the CPU, and that was stolen from the uni of wisconsin.
