Mine was shutting off sometimes, sometimes rebooting, and then not charging - get a screen shot of a battery with an X through it - finally realized battery has connection issues. Tried cleaning contacts with a very expensive product (De-ox), same results. I stuffed a little cardboard on one side, then the other, didn't do much- maybe worse even. Then I tried cardboard between the battery and the back case and now it's been working really great for weeks now, except the battery now lasts only a day per charge- I had been getting up to two days before. Thinking of getting a new battery since I bought the phone used and figure its probably got 2 years on it now. Hope this helps some of you folks out there. I am a long time Lumia fan, 4th one, 4th generation. Sure wish I had just gotten another Lumia 650, it was the best. The only real perk by comparison is the 950 XL camera is really pretty awesome.

I regret buying this s##t phone, I always had Lumia phones but I think the phones where the best when they were made by Nokia. My phone is only three months old and the battery is some crap.

My 950XL Dual worked almost 2 years exellent until the problem began. Lumia 950xl is a big gun, but the battery can be renewed. The other devices with same speks (android Sony, Samsung etc) the battery is fixed to the board and cannot be changed. Sorry to say. However these 950XL- batteries are difficulty to obtain.

thought t'was super nice until I noticed that the battery drains so fast, keeps saying phone has been locked for security reasons, please plug in your phone to a power source for at least 2 hours and then restart it, shuts off whenever it's connected to a mobile data or wifi and heats up most of the time. It's very frustrating after a year of using it. Not a good device! Totally regretted buying it.

I bought a Lumia 950xl since January 2017, its battery drains too fast. I have sent it to care center 4 times, and the answer is "no fault found". It's first time that I have problem with lumia device. I think it is the worst Microsoft Lumia device ever. And I cannot understand why they don't repair the problem when the device and battery is on warranty.

I got it replaced under warranty but it took almost 2 months to get a new battery.
Now this battery have started giving same problem in just 2 month.Now warranty has expired and they are asking Rs5000 for new battery.
Do not recommended any microsoft phone to buy.

Dont buy Microasoft phone or any microsoft hardware product.
My lumia 950xl turn off frequently without any reason. It starts only if i connect a charger. I purchase a new battery also but issue is not solved.
My issues are during a warranty period but No help from microsoft.

jerr... i was so proud that i bought two masterpiece (lumia 950 & 950xl) nxa only to find out later that i bought shit phones in the world of smartphones. I cant even spend a day with my phones cos of its poor battery life. But now 950 is better cos i forgot it on the dashboard in my car almost a day nd the sun burn it till switch off automatically cos of overheating, Since from that day after cooling down i have noticed that it drain battery very slow nd no more overheating unless if i browser or chat in whatsapp. So this coming weekend i'm going to place 950xl to the sun nd check if i can solve its battery issue too.

we bought 2 x lumia 950 approx 2 months ago....1st day had trouble charging, when it finally did it was super hot, since then have had freezing issues, complete battery drain within 4-5 hrs whilst sitting overnight not used and heating up so much you can not hold it to your ear, freezes constantly, touch screen doesn't respond and cant perform updates as it wont allow it even though updates are available.....have sent them back.....such shit phones, completely disgusted, have been a loyal Lumia fan since day 1.

Today I couldn't take off from charger, and sometimes its freezing and giving a so annoying sound I wanna throw away the phone, its sounds like what's gonna be explode. This phone the biggest shit phone ever in my life.
