We need Surface like phone-design. I love what lumia is. But ms should stop the lumia and polycarb-plastic style. Come on! We have a new Windows10, and MS should change the design. A new surface phone will be better together with surface tablet and surface book..

See you at MWC, Lumia 850. Although, after the debacle that Lumia 950 is, I really don't have any hopes whatsoever from Microsoft.

Design is definitely much better that 950/950XL , but unfortunately device is too big ( 5.5 inches). I don't know who and why decided that everyone need a huge device. True - MS has some smaller screen models but they are cheap looking and underpowered. It's really sad to see that huge company like MS with potential to make great software has absolutely no idea how to make devices which will attract customers.

IMO:
Speaker is again back, but acceptable.
No dedicated camera button and that isn't good.
Too big size for me.

Anyway, if that was with 950's hardware inside, the camera button and 5.2" display in BLACK with silver or black metal frame, I will definitely buy one.
Now I will not buy any 950's or this one.
May wait for Surface phone or in worst case jump the OS.

the design okay for me.. but this shouldn't be official design.. cos physical camera shutter key is missing. which is essential.. however capacitive navigation keys have gone long ago.. I bought Lumia 730. and I know how essential those two features are.. I was hoping that at least on high end mobiles Microsoft would keep those 2 features.. But they gave camera shutter key and omitted capacitive navigation keys. hope at least they keep physical shutter key in Lumia 850...

Phone makers these days have forgot the basics of a cellphone.
A phone is kept on it's back. Why the hell every phone has a protruding camera these days?
Even these Tim-Cook-era-iPhones as well.

Who care !
Everybody knew that Microsoft is the younger brother of BB. All their Wd10 lumias are to costly for consumers. Better save in the Meusum.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2015By now I don't think anyone would really care about lumina phones. Yeah. Because we care about lumia phones. Not "lumina" phones.

Typical design of Nokia Lumia 925 which is copied by LG in their Nexus 5X.
