G3 user, 07 Dec 2015i wonder why companies invest time in an ancient android version for them promise an update to... moreTaking a usable ROM from an already working similar device and porting it is easier and cheaper than taking a ROM which hasn't been developed for the spec range and is used by a distant device (spec-wise). And KitKat is optimized for low-end devices like this.
