4'' is too much for a phone.3.5'' is maximum. 3.2'' is optimal.
it's should have 3.2'' display and should be not over 11mm thin.
then it could be called the top model.
but this is too big, too fat. nothing innovative.

I really don't care much about camera, rather then good symbian OS on good hardware combination like large resistive touchscreen, nice built and no plastics, and wot is most important is long battery live.
The n5800xm i own, if i could find better non plastic cowers, i will not go for any other phone no matter wot...!

Specs are nice. But the world has moved on. It's now about the OS and usability. This is an area where Nokia and Symbian are behind.

I think this would be better if it has an led light for autofocus assist and video light and the design needs improvement. And the megapixel race doesn't actually mean better image quality comparing any 12 mp cmos camera phone would be beaten any day by sharp 10mp ccd camera phone

What's "Hsdpu"? Maybe you're thinking of HSUPA. Anyway you get the phone you like and everyone else get what they like. Why do people give so much to brand loyalty? What do they give you back? Do they even know you? Do they care as long as said product is flying off the shelves? I don't think so.

Symbian^3 is starting to look more interesting, especially with 12mp camera. Nokia should use the snap dragon processor or better if this is their flag ship phone.

It was a Nokia design first which Nokia scrapped for other ... moreif nokia designed the satio, then that nokia designer copied the design of the sony ericsson c905.
how can you say that satio is designed by nokia. nokia can't design phones like that. and if they do then it means they can do better with this n98 phone. but they can't and they are just trying to catch up. lame

For me the propotions look all wrong for it to be a 4" display.
Perhaps there is more than one 12MP Nokia coming out, and this is not the top-off-the line unit.

Been waiting ages for Nokia to show they can compete more in the Top Camera mobile market,as got feed up with the 5 mega-pixel one,an Nokia let the first 8 mega-pixel camera mobile down the N86,screen to small an below par speakers,an hope Nokia do not put the Querty keypad on this supposed to be mobile,if thats correct Sony Ericsson got the Satio of Nokia then totally pleased i have got the Satio as i knew it was the same software as the 5800,hope this is not a fake mobile

I am so jealous w/this fon,how i wish my iphone have 5mp cam w/ xenon flash,i can take pics even on night.i wish my iphone have a front camera for videocalling esp tru fring/skype.i hope i can personalized mp3s as my ringtone.i wish i wl nt jailbreak my iphone jaz to do multitasking.how i wish i have free navigation,how i wish steve jobs wl install adobe flash for the web browser.how i wish i dnt have to go to intricate ways to download games,songs and applications.do i have to go to itunes jaz to download thngs?how i wish my battery is nt fixed coz i want another spare batt in case im away fr civilization and electricity is nowhere to be found.

So what did apple invented?
The capacitivce touch that apple use on the iphone was invented by fingerstouch technology, then apple buy that company out, that's the only that apple was able to use it on the iphone.

I hope that atleast for this phone, Nokia designers spend more time on the looks. The last nicely dressed phone i feel was N82 couple of years ago.

This is interesting as it was expected that all future high end devices from Nokia would incorporate Maemo, soon to be known as Meego following a merger of OS components with Intel's Moblin OS.
Also, it will be interesting as to whether future E series devices from Nokia will be running the Symbian 3^ operating system or will use Meego (Maemo and Moblin combined are scheduled for end of 2010 as I understand).
