looks good, but I JUST can't stop thinking that it falls quit short for this year to say the least:....,

Lets say compare this to Samsung Omnia HD (yep the phone that started Mobile HD War)
1)Camera is only 5MP, not 8MP (ofcourse these days THE COUNTS don't really matter, especially considering that Samsung (only tied by SE) has emerged to the top in camera department, but the Aperture diameter, as well as image sensor DOES!!!) Now, slick size comes with great responsibility, which often means GREAT SACRIFICES!! Surely, this little camera(i9000): http://www.mobileburn.com/media/samsung/i9000/samsung_i9000_galaxy_s-img_7561.jpg
      won't match of that (i8910: http://otakugadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Samsung-Omnia-HD-i8910-photo3.jpg
      2)Same internal storage
      3)Same battery size
4)Bit better CPU, GPU, prob more RAM
      5)Comes over a year later!
      AKA NOT an Evolution!!

to say HTC EVO 4G(Supersonic): http://now.sprint.com/evo/
with LTE, HDMI, and who knows what else...

ready to bitten by HTC Scorpion (dual core CPU/1080p/..)

No Radio AGAIN ?????? WTF is wrong with Android?!
Oh well, they will get it right eventually :)
The screen is AMAZING though, everything else pales in comparison.
I bet the phone is so thin in part because of the new screen technology.

Not even trying to make it look different from the stupid iPhone. I'll stick with HTC HD2.

Don't be fooled by samsung specs no matter how good they are! They are the worst company that supports their customers! I had the Omnia HD and I was fed up with how bad the support was, I advice you to go see other alternatives that will give you good support, Otherwise you will be very disappointed like me!

Think about it, what good is a high end phone with out support and upgrades, it will get outdated very soon!

The N82 had a 5MP camera and Xenon flash, also had a Dual core processor and dedicated 3D graphics, the N86 only had the over hyped 8MP camera, otherwise a piece of crap, Nothing like the N8 was ever made again..., pity that !

Phone manufacturers should not be looking for the next 12mp+ cameraphone and instead improve the 5-8mp ranges with better processors/screens/and support.
Better optics and xenon flash on 5mp cameras is enough for a phone IMO.

Granted, Nokia have not been pumping forward camera wise, but it did show with the N86, that older standards can improve. My main concern is with current top end smartphone battery power.

yeah it's alright but what is with these 5mp snapper already. comeon man what the hell. is everybody going backwards in camera department.
there is still no single peace of thech out there which is the main flagship. everything is tailorder to steal your money. this is a flagship. smratphone with atleast 8mp 720p videorecording, 1ghz processor. thats it. no 12 mp camera and 600 mhz processor thats not a flagship or 2 ghz processor and 5 mp camera, no no. i'm goning to wait what iphone has to offer but i'm not buying 5mp camera. i can buy next iphone for 5 mp camera.

who really wants phones this big? I wish they made smaller versions like the HTC Legend, it's getting so much attention even though it's less powerful than the Desire.

The original Galaxy only had a 3.2" screen so where is the consistancy? It should be Omnia 3 or something.
