Reviews or not the tablet hasn't been out nearly long enough to form a proper opinion on it, 3Gb on a stock Android tablet as powerful as the Pixel C should be enough to handle all your multitasking needs without constant app refreshing.

Android tablets went up because of the nexus 7. Nexus 9, now Pixel C and tablets from other manufacturers (including apple) haven't brought anything new to the table so their sales have started dropping (maybe windows tablets are taking away their popularity). Fanboyism isn't going to save the platform.

If I want a tablet, I buy a tab... moreI'm not a big fan of tablets but yeah I'm on the same boat as you, I like to keep the two separate, but if I did want to get a tablet might as well get one that supports Windows 10 too and that thing supports all the software you'll ever need even if it has bad tablet centric apps according to you...But this Pixel C with its metal exterior looks so damn sweet, very tempting.

I wonder what your impression of the iPad Pro is because that thing isn't just massive like big and bulky phones but very heavy too.

If I want a tablet, I buy a tablet. If I want a laptop I buy a laptop (XPS 2015 :p ). 2in1s end up being mediocre at both.

Modern tablets are around 400 grams, if I was to buy such a fatso (520 grams in 2015, really?) I would simply buy Surface Pro and be done with it. DOA product

According to Microsoft knuckleheads "no worries buy a second laptop that is only mediocre as a tablet" ... or one may simply ignore their advice and buy an actual tablet (like pixel C) instead of a laptop that fails to be a tablet.

If it have fingerprint sensor i will love it more. When will manufacturer start to integrate it in laptop or tablet. It is more important compare to smartphone. I know a few but not all of them. I want fingerprint sensor to be a norm in tablet and laptop too. Even cheap sub $100 smartphone have it.
