IF SE had said, 'ok, its last years OS so we will sell it for 650 USD' then they might actually sell some units.

Ya SE needs to sell mobile with attractive price to handle economic crysis of its own! 770$ is much more than expected for X10. At least they could sell with Android 2.1 and AMOLED. So instead of this i would choose HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S.

Beautiful phone! Nice design and some good specs, like his 8 mp camera. But... Like wave, galaxy s and iPhone, this phone does'nt compare with hd2. Guys, dont buy all these crap phones, wait for hd3: 12.1 mp, 1.6 ghz processor, 4 gb of RAM, 8 gb of ROM, windows 7 OS, bluetooth 3.0, 64 gb of internal memory and more, much more. It from other world!

$770 is a bit too high when you compare it to the better software spec'd nexus one. All that nice hardware on the xperia x10 isn't worth $770 but I may be wrong. Hope the phone sells well for Sony Ercisson's sake. Lets hope hackers make a custom android 2.1 rom for this X10.

kinda late.. but still a fkn HOT phone!! seriously! the design of this thing is awesome! 8 megapixel snapper seems to take stunning photos. entertainment of this thing will look good. uxp interface and design together looks sexy...

How can any flag ship have a TFT screen. For gods s... moreWho cares about amoled screens! We have a 4 inch screen that is just doing the job perfectly, exactly like the hd2 with it's massive 4.3 screen. So if the screen is crisp clear and ok that's enough.
I don't know why do you want it to be amoled?? It's obvious your a samsung guy otherwise you would not say such a thing. The X10 is one of the best droids in the market, this is a fact whether you accept it or deny it, at least it has a 8 mp camera with a flash!!!

For $770, i could get a Nexus one with a cancellation fee from my current line, and still have room to spare. I really want this phone i really do, i am huge fan of Sony Ericsson but the fact that you delay every interesting device for months and then give the finger to the US market pisses me off...

For that price? It will be a huge fail! HTC has more breathing devices than this. Also SAmsung is starting to shake the market with Super-Amoled...
