Khien, 12 Dec 2015This may be the dumbest comment I've read all day, thanks!Happy to have made your day, sheep.
I think it is a brilliant system, it enables Oneplus to pre-sell their phones at retail prices, therefore carrying no stock and missing out the middlemen. They can then offer excellent value, plus state of the art phones! I am sure other small manufacturers, will devise similar schemes....in the end this benefits the end user, with modern phones at super prices.
I've said it before and I will say it again. One Plus should be boycotted. They try to make people crave for their generic Crap phones with this invite system. Their phones are generic Android phones and should be available as all other generic phones are.
Just because something is hard to get, doesn't mean it is exotic.
TL;DR - Try not to encourage corporations that try to think consumers are dependent on them, it should be the opposite.
I'm sure the invite system is losing them sales - I was interested in the OP2 when it was released. Signed up for the invite system - couple of months later Nexus 6P got released and I went with that instead.
Then a few weeks ago I get my invite from One plus!
I was interested in this until i read invite.
Then i lost all interest.
Man wants phone, man runs out of contract and has options.
Man see's one plus, wants one plus, man can't buy one plus due to ridiculous invite system.
Man buys other phone.
One plus lose yet another customer.
I think it's pretty evident where O.P skimmed when their company was created.
Can I use the same ceramic cover that was just released for the iPhone lol
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2015Ceramic.. drop and it shatters!Uhhhh, I don't think it's that kind of ceramic. You can read up on ceramics yourself, I'm not going to educate you.
