and just a general question - i just updated my milestone to v2.1, and everything seems be working smoothly and charmingly until i realized that i still only have 7 (instead of the purported 9) home screen menus. is this the case for you guys?

I just update to 2.1 in Canada with Telus and everything seems to be working fine besides that the voice to text didn't seem to install and/or I cannot find the proper place to activate it... anyone having this issue as well?

My milestone has got the 2.0v version of android. Can I update my phone from 2.0v to 2.1v, directly? or I have update to 2.0.1 version before.

y the hell motorola milestone cost 660usd in india when its just arond 500-550$ in rest of the world??? now my sis got the motorola milestone from UK which has 2.0 and in india its 2.1 so y does MOTOROLA india say i cant upgrade it I hate u guys... m gonna sell it n buy the IPHONE or HTC atleast they dont discriminate like u....... All phones have been installed with Android 2.1 now.
Milestone is available through most major chain electronic stores like Fort????, B-way, etc...(just don't buy from ???link, as though being a chain store, cannot be trusted)

Folks,
As per the advice I have updated my Milestone with Telus Canada. Every thing works except the Phone. The Phone Signal comes and goes..what Do I do now...very scary :) Not sure what happened. How do I downgrade. Any help is appreciated
