If LG seals the back of the G5, they will lose customers.

Can't wait to put my hands on it. My Lg G3 is still working great, but I will definitely upgrade to G5 if it has such a superb front and back camera. The only issue is battery life, hope it has 4k battery. Life is good people, Lg is on fire this year :)

This will be the quad-core version of the 820 which is reportedly faster than the octa-core 810. Qualcomm will release the octa-core 820 later in 2016. It will nonetheless be interesting to see what the performance difference is and how the battery life will turn out on the G5 using the 14nm chipset.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2015This demostrates that the LG G4 was a total failI think your right, its their own fault cause they release their smartphone in April or May, by then the HTC One, Huawei P and Samsung Galaxy phones are already out.

Z3 compact user, 10 Dec 2015Get a tablet or laptop then. We are talking about a phone here. They are supposed to be handy,... moreWell well say it for yourself. There is plenty of those who prefer 5.5 inch phone you know? Every one has its own reasons why smaller or bigger phone is better

Anyway i dont see Lg G4 as failure, because G4 will be very cheap next year. Point in Lg is that they can sell phones easily through 2 years span, because of service and money. Some phones are on store shelfs for only a year, some arent even in stores. Lg G4 main problem was Q2 release and battery. Everything else was great. If LG makes this like they should be then there is no doubt that Lg g5 is gonna sell.

There is another disappoing aspect. People usually doesnt know much about hardware so they think 8cores is better than 6 or 4 cores. If G5 gonna have 820 it has 4 cores people are gonna think that it is bad SoC in comparison to 8core exynos or kirin or mt. To make most out of sales people must be persuaded that your phone can cope with others. And next year we might see few Lg beasts out there. Flex 3, G5 and probably V20. We shall see.

Oh and of course compacts or mini versions of phone should have same SOcs as flagship. Same as Sony does. But phones atm in my country are just too expensive. Inwould like to habe premium but too soon.
