Matt C, 29 Mar 2010Didn't work for me, ota wouldn't work ... i have a UK Sim free milestone from Expansys. Tried ... moreGot exactly the same and getting exactly the same response, OTA reads up to date and so does update via usb cable.

Where are these users that have the update (in the world)? Are they on a carrier or SIM free? I'm not sure about updating using the linked file, if the offical USB update method is checking for UK (which it does seem to indicate) and Motorola haven't flipped the switch for UK to download that might imply it requires a slightly different version for the UK market which they're still testing.

    Totally guessing of course..

rAj_Bangladesh, 29 Mar 2010I decided to sold my HTC HERO & bought a Milestone... HERO will never get the update in Asia :(No, they will. I'm also use HTC Hero, singapore.
But the delay is very very annoying, really..!

When will HTC get their fat 4ss and give the Hero Asia update.
You are an Asian company, you forget your origin, since you famous in europe huh, HTC?

Btw, I really interested with live wallpaper, I hope Hero cpu can handle that as well.

Congrats for moto user anyway.. you are UPFRONT!
            THUMBS UP, MOTO!!
