if u can update lolipop for redmi 2 it will be superb not only for redmi3
Mr. Jangir, 11 Dec 2015Great spec at mid range level smartphone, but if this Redmi 3 it should be expendable storage... moreI whole heartedly agree, I'm also hoping it looks like a scaled down version of the Redmi Note 2. Reason being the design would mimic the Mi4i/c series with Xiaomi's new design language BUT to define it from a 4i it would need the central circular camera like the Redmi Note 2. Its a shame they didn't stick with Mediatek processors for the Redmi 3, it would lower the price and define it from the flagship Mi Series that use Qualcomm.
Hope that this upcoming iteration carries over the same convenience that made its older sibling quite useful including, but not limited to
-User replaceable battery
-Fairly good loud speakers
-Default call recording
And lastly, stellar pricing.
there's no way a 1,4GHz cortex A53 would have achieved this single core score... must be an hexacore with 2 A72 and 4 A53
Great spec at mid range level smartphone, but if this Redmi 3 it should be expendable storage. And it seems sleek to look at. Thanks Xiaomi I,m just waiting for this sturdy Smartphone..........
difinitely snapie 618. geekbench database still haven't been updated maybe?
So SD617 has twice the single core performance compared to SD615?
Kudos to Qualcomm's retarded naming scheme. It's like going from a Fiat to ferrari and still call it fiat (seriously those single core score are Exynos 7420 level of score).
Cortex-A53 can't deliver such a high single core performance.
Despite the code number that score and amount of cores indicates it's the SD618.
Wasn't this phone supposed to have the newly announced mediatek helio x-12 chipset?adreno 405 gpu is not good for high end FHD gaming.
This would be a great low-mid device. I think they will price it at 140-150$, which will make it a killer device if it has a good camera, and I hope no FHD screen to keep costs and power usage down.
