The brand with the most number of mid ranger like Samsung is very reasonable to be in top 10. Other brand like LG, Sony and Microsoft nowhere to be seen because nobody interested in their expensive devices that have more or less simular specs as Samsung semi high end devices. I am talking about A series and J series from Samsung. I never seen low budget phone from other brand get popular. LG make the worst low budget device ever. Sony mid range device simply bezel-tastic and ugly. Microsoft? Low budget? With 512mb/1gb ram it simply turn people off. Iphone cheaper version, the 5C not so 'cheap' price at all. Price the same as flagship. Not worth it. So, in the end consumer have Samsung as the best choice. Samsung gives you best hardware and value for money though on the software side still lacking.

the phones of the rank are mid-range phones like the mayority of the people thats why they are on the list. and Samsung have many mid.range phones thats why most of them are from that brand. Iphone is a really good device problably the best if you are talking about performance, but its a really expensive phone. apple get crazy with the price tag. Samsung is just a little cheaper and they also make really good phones.
