aussiehk, 15 Dec 2015Again, that wasn't my point at all. It doesn't matter who had the technology FIRST. It matters... moreDoing first in invention, getting it right OR Do both is innovation :)
Hence, Apple rules XD
Z3 compact user, 14 Dec 2015What's all these crying about copying?
When a company sees that a design or feature is attr... moreI just quoted a statement, didn't engage in fight :)
But seems like you are offended somehow ;)
Grey1213, 15 Dec 2015What's embarrassing is that you don't even recognise that the features of 3d touch were taken ... moreAgain, that wasn't my point at all. It doesn't matter who had the technology FIRST. It matters who made it successful first, which is Apple with most things.
I think my list of items is pretty self explanatory and can't be refuted.
Apple copying HTC with the design, apple copying force touch from Huawei what's your point , apple copying from Android hats your point ?
Anonymous, 15 Dec 2015copy cultureIf everyone's copying good tech anyway, I don't see any problem.
Ch.Abdullah Tariq, 14 Dec 2015I just want to say HahahahahahahahahahahahaH! samsung should be called Sammy,The Copy Cat! :DAppy, The coy cat.
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2015Copy. Copy. Copy.Yeah, yes, yep. The non-brainy Apple copied the brainiest Samsung's 'Air View' renamed as 3D Touch and put on their new phones to satisfy the iphools. Samsung is bringing it back to prove that it was originally their idea.
aussiehk, 15 Dec 2015That's not the point.
Why is it that Samsung ALWAYS follow Apple in everything in the very... moreYou mean like Apple copying Samsung by playing and recording HD video?
Or copying the design of Galaxy devices
Grey1213, 15 Dec 2015What's embarrassing is that you don't even recognise that the features of 3d touch were taken ... moreWahahaha coming from airview you said? Hahaha Define airview and 3d touch... Maybe you don't know the differences kindly search it in the net...hahaha
Who cares. Bring back IR blaster, removable battery and MicroSd support. Also add IP68 certification.
aussiehk, 15 Dec 2015That's not the point.
Why is it that Samsung ALWAYS follow Apple in everything in the very... moreWhat's embarrassing is that you don't even recognise that the features of 3d touch were taken straight from air view.
The market was moving towards the other things anyway, hence why patents for such things already existed, and why Apple was able to just buy it off a shelf and put it in. Funny how people like you always ignore all the things that Apple copied.
Apple copies Samsung too. Else the iPhone Plus would never exist.
Everyone copies the success of everyone. It's plain dumb to bash a single company for doing so and closing the eyes for all the others.
And still the devices have their differences which is good for the confusion sumers.
Ranjit123, 14 Dec 2015The Only one thing separating Samsung and Apple is IOS ,One day Samsung Phones will also have ... moreThe Os, the screen resolution which sucks at iPhones, the camera which is also worse at iPhones, the restriction on the OS cause Samsung and all Androids don't have the proprietary conector, the fast charging and wireless charging, Androids can read pendrives, don't requires developers UDIDs, DLNA...
So, I'm glad they're only copying the good stuff!
smarterthanyou, 15 Dec 2015you did not mention the expandable storage - dual sim option--- ( AMOLED display - group play ... moreAnd all of those things are secondary functions to an essential customer experience. Only a fragment of the population would care or use them, aside from perhaps waterproofing.
Hence why Apple doesn't bother with many of them, because they do not have a positive impact on the majority of customers or the core journeys. Things like MicroSD cards are an unnecessary source of errors and performance issues. Pens for a phone are counterintuitive, but not so for tablets. AMOLED is a technical term and 90% of people would not be able to spot the difference if you'd ask them or even care. Infrared remote? Oh come on.
Packing a phone with features that simply overcomplicate the experience is what Samsung does, but if you look at Xiaomi - who are following closely in Apple's footsteps - they are quickly kicking Samsung out of China. That's good copying.
TreyBlogHD, 14 Dec 2015I thought Blackberry did it first on thr BB storm or am I wrongThat's not the point.
Why is it that Samsung ALWAYS follow Apple in everything in the very next release?
Siri -> S-Voice
TouchID - Samsung's swipe fingerprint
Apple Pay - Samsung Pay
3D Touch - Samsung Touch... or whatever they'll call it.
It's not about the technology, it's the fact that Samsung blatantly add the same features just to stay "in the game". That's embarassing...
TreyBlogHD, 14 Dec 2015always 4 years behind. Big screens, NFC, customisable keyboards, better app integration. OUCHBetter app inauguration? Are you serious? All the apps on AppStore are optimized for the iPhones. Android play store even don't have optimized apps for nexus 6p
