For most, sd card is still a valid reason. Be it for music or video, photo back up. More people would back up on their own than online storage. I would rather lose my back up from faulty sd cards than the risk getting hacked.

Had several other phones without need for sd card. Even older nokias without sd card. Always had tons of apps, pictures and even porn. Still not really needed sd card. Never had icrap and never will.

No one with some sense is not going to have waste their time on a phone with 16GB alone, or even 32GB if they know they can or could at least conceive themselves using even half of that given space available. Which is probably closer to even a third of smartphone users.

To be quite frank, i think it would be a grave mistake for Oneplus to release a 4.7inch high end smartphone just after releasing the Oneplus X (which I just got yesterday and am very happy!)
Wouldn't it have just been smarter to pack the oneplus x full of the higher end gear as the so called MINI will only be a fraction smaller then the X!
Makes no Sense...

What makes you think this is a OnePlus smartphone ? It is too early to assume this GFXBench comes from a OnePlus device imo...
Gimme a fine 2500+ Battery and a Laser Focus for camera and I take it!
Been waiting for a compact quality shooter for sooo demn looong...
happy to see competition.battery capacity will make this king or zero..
i wish oneplusmini is 4.6 720p Super Amoled Screen + microsd + 3gb ram + camera feat. optical image stabilzation and laser auto focus... that is all i need in a smatphone . . . =)
This DOES sound interesting.
I'm so sick of compact phones being mediocre. I was eagerly awaiting the OPX but was disappointed there were so many compromises to make it cheap.
That's something I would consider getting. I hope they release it with Android 6.
yes! if they can price this under $350 then it will be good. Z3 compact and later models are still too pricey. mini phones from samsung and htc has low/mid range specs. I love my Z1, doesn't love the battery life and outdated screen
This sounds promising. Hopefully dual sim and dedicated card slot with a decent battery.

And more compact but powerful phones will arrive in the market, hopefully this is just the beginning of what's to come led by Sony and OP.
