Sony phones are off course better in terms of Gaming & picture quality big screen feels good, however the phone is not easy to carry in pockets & a bit bulky.
The problem with Sony is that they make very generic phones, using mediocre, easily available to anyone components and not paying attention to having any single feature that stands out as superior. They are well leveled with that, however, but they don't have any selling points - there's always a phone with better battery, camera, display (by far in that one), performance. The Z3 compact, I think, was the only phone that was actually better than the competition and I think it remains their most interesting offering.

I'm very satisfied with their phones si... moreI like Sony, I was a huge fan for Walkman series, C series camera and Xperia windows phone, but recently I have heard they are also taking lot more time to release updates and camera reviews are not good :| But I will consider them when I do a final buy.

Honest Realist, 18 Dec 2015The day when Apple is NOT in the lead is the day pigs sprout wings.Apple in the lead for the most replaced smartphone. That is because ios update destroyed their iphone 5 and 5s. Ask any Apple user and they will tell you that they can keep an iphone for 5 years and still get an update but in real life none of them use it for more than 3 years. They end up with new model almost every 2 years. Samsung Galaxy S4 is definitely in need of upgrade because it is too old to receive update. Latest android version is meaningless for it. There is no fingerprint scanner and a lot of other lacking hardware features supported by android 6.0.

instead of keep spinning the wheel , why don't you put a figure here backed by facts??

I kept my Z2 in good condition because I want my Z2 to last for 4-6 years.

A... moreNice try. What you try to pass of as 'assumption' you also tried to passit off as 'bitter truth'. It can't be both; making your 'point' moot.
And doing the mathematics on projected sales figure, assuming defection rate remains constant, your bitter truth is that it's about 8-10 million going from one camp to the other VICE-VERSA. From a neutral point of view, there is nothing bitter about that from both camps. From Samsung fan's point of view there's probably nothing bitter about that. How does that look from Apple fanatic's point of view?
Anonymous, 17 Dec 2015why do you even bother bring iphone in you haterI wouldn't call him a hater, he's just his usual woefully ill informed self.
On iOS it is just as easy to see battery metrics and data as it is on android.
And as for optimising battery usage in the android world, that would largely depend on which version / skin and what features they offer, each android oem comes at battery optimisation from slightly different angles.
Wow, those Apple users comments are darn stupids... they don't even read the article... LOL

I am happy with Android and cannot see myself changing over to iOS, but I can understand where people are the opposite.
Horses for courses at the end of the day....
Why would anyone trade their iPhone with a bloatware & malware infested Lagdroid gadget? Makes no utter sense.
But that's normal. Humanity is deeply trivialized, iggy azealea, bieber and transformers make a bucketload of money; obviously people like that would go for iphones.
Android takes an extra 10 minutes to learn - customization and personality is not something people want. People want Bieber...

Assume 1 million iphones git sold and 100k buyers r from samsung , defection rate is 10% for samsung.
Say 1000 galaxy S6 got sold and 400 are ex iphone users, defection rate is 40%.
If you still cant understand , focus on the words "Assume" and "Say" ..
If you still cant figure out , i can't help
