How silly is that? Exynos M1 is 10% faster in single core and 40% faster in multi core than SD820.

Is Samsung shooting themselves in he foot once again woke with Note 4? (the exynos version was clearly faster there too, yet most American bought the Snapdragon version).

Samsung phones don't need best processor to compete with other phones. What they need is 'Better UI Skin' and replace 'Touch Wizz' with something like Sense or MIUI which is blazing fast and don't lag.

Why is this interesting? Are there people out there that won't buy any other device but the ones running the SD820? Assuming the heat issue with the Snapdragon is fixed then I don't care if the SoC is SD820 or Exynos 8890.

Samsung is very smart, they sell you at first is fast.. then it lags after awhile.. when you cannot return it.

Xiaomi Mi 5 has been already listed on Oppomart's website (the listing has now been removed) with Snapdragon 820 chip-set, So it does not make sense of only Samsung having exclusive of 820 until April.

Similarly figertip and retinal scanners are add ons, but pressure sensitivity can potentially revolutionize phone usage once again. It can support advanced palm rejection, finally making phones small once again (no need of bezels when you have palm rejection and sapphire glass). It also adds an extra layer of control to the very limited repertoire of smartphones, it's the invention of right click for smartphones. Right click gave flight to PC usage.

Would it be adopted by everyone? Eventually yes, it's *that* good of an idea.

If u don't know galaxy s5 is their last flagship which probably won't have marshmallow "due to hardware limitations". Come on dude this is not Samsung's first time. They build a phone then they say ok good for you.plus Google this! They have confirmed it for their latest but others " waiting approval "

Samsung's next flagship smartphone has been said to come with a pressure-sensitive screen (copied from apple), a retina scanner, a USB Type-C port, an improved camera, and possibly expandable storage (but only for the non-curved iteration of the phone).

plus with useless ram drainer bloated lagwiz.
