I too have Xiaomi multiple chances and spent about 35k on them. None of their devices were reliable and except for the mi3, none are in working condition. The Mi3 boots up and using it with Marshmallow, it is a good phone but you can't overlook how cheap it feels, the audio quality being abysmal, shutting down for no reason, battery draining from well above 50 to 0 in half hour whole not being used, its crap. I would rather spend more on phone than to cheap out and buy shit like this. (Fun fact, at the time I got the Mi3, the xperia Z1 (same specs) was at 17k. Only 2k more. Much better phone. Some of my friends have it and they absolutely love it.)
AnonD-246723, 18 Dec 2015A china company doing this is unforgivable .I agree, the reason why so many people even considered Chinese phones is because they were cheap and good at the same time, now there's no reason to get one.
Jin1234, 19 Dec 2015How about Asus, Lenovo and HTC?Yeah but they aren't Chinese big dawgs like Xiaomi and Huawei, even if they do eat 'em lol okay that was a low blow I know.
if you're a poor man, i advise you to buy Redmi Series
I don't suggest to buy any Xiaomi products. They are very week and so delicate.
1. I bought Mi Band ....they said It will give 30 day battery support. but It stopped working entirely after 15 days.
2. I also bought Mi 4i... my nephew just dropped the phone on the floor and the screen is entirely broken and even though it is under 1 year warranty, they said that I have to Pay INR. 4500. which is so Ridiculous. My previous iphone 3GS was atleast dropped 100 times, not even a single crack happened to that iphone.
But Xiaomi is CRAP and CHEAP phones and CHEAP phones with worst quality.
Dont waste your money.
AnonD-246723, 18 Dec 2015A china company doing this is unforgivable .Yes, people. Let's all be sinophobes and xenophobes.
AnonD-463876, 18 Dec 2015Let me rephrase that, forget all Chinese brands that isn't named Huawei and Xiaomi. How about Asus, Lenovo and HTC?
AnonD-463876, 18 Dec 2015That's what Google did with Nexus and to a slighter degree what OnePlus is doing now. A china company doing this is unforgivable .

AnonD-433808, 18 Dec 2015Wait till Samsung price their Snapdragon 820 phones :PSamsung already said it's going to be substantially cheaper than the S6. Whereas with Xiaomi it's the opposite lol it's like bizarro world.
Jarret, 18 Dec 2015Please forget all China's brand smartphones - price is going higher and higher...Let me rephrase that, forget all Chinese brands that isn't named Huawei and Xiaomi.
middlefinger, 17 Dec 2015looks like qualcomm went into loss last year because samsung opted out of their flagship chips... moreQualcomm doesn't need to since most major companies already pledged to using 820 on their top phones, I think the deal (if it's even real) must've been mutually beneficial that's why they both allegedly agreed to it.
AnonD-246723, 17 Dec 2015xiaomi slowly let ppl forget its a budget brand . Jacking up 10% of the price for each generation .That's what Google did with Nexus and to a slighter degree what OnePlus is doing now.
