I think they are missing the mark because their production capacity is limited. They bring only 10,000 phones to sell and then they expect people to wait for another 15 20 days for another 10,000. Many like me get fed up of waiting and buy another brand.

just dump MIUI already Xiaomi..or give option of dual boot..MIUI or stock android.
Price to hardware ratio is excellent only thing problematic is software...
Release stock android within 15 days of google releasing it on Nexus devices & see your sales SOAR!!

Slow launch outside China, take ages for a new product to go out of domestic market.
Eg. MI Note Pro, Redmi Note 3, Mi4c still no plan going out of China.
