The idea that Android and i-phone (or win-mo), because of apps based need are the only runners in the game is wrong. Phones have become too complicated for many, some require just the essential apps with a decent quality handset. This phone with flash browser etc, looks awesome. I don't much like the i-phone, it is the only phone that is popular I DON'T own. Reason, it's too locked into one format. You can't even remove the battery should it crash on you. I am not being negative about apple, but sick of so many people comparing ANY handset that is touchscreen to Apple. I feel Lg are now leaders in touch technology, just as samsung are leaders in slide handsets. Having the Lg pop (and love) doubt I would need this phone, but credit due to Lg, each new phone they make they get better and better (not so motorola, sorry!!)

have to say anyone who would buy this phone over a HTC desire or a legend or a iphone is just plain crazy andriod and iphone rule everything everyone needs one :)

Hello everyone, I m perhaps the most eager fan of LG mobiles...thanks to their sleek designs. but i am worried about the future of the company since they are offering nothing when it comes to smartphones.Since the success of their Chocolate kg800 (the older one), they have been focusing on fashionable devices. Look at KF750 secret, GD900 Crystal, Viewty Smart, Shine ,BL40 new chocolate and now this on GD880 mini. All of these are amazing looking phones, but....what about OS. These are just feature phones( in other words DUMB phones).Now if they continue in the same way, what will happen to them in the nextone to two years. I am sure they will have to leave the third place for sony or MOTO. LG has not released even a single high end device after new chocolate BL40 (back in september 2009).Their sales are increasing but profit is decreasing. All of my dear friends! WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUGGEST TO LG TO CONTINUE ITS SUCCESS IN MOBILE ARENA.

When it says "LG" to some people it sounds strange and dubious... Otherwise if there was an apple contour, well this phone, with this beautiful design had all to be a winner. The software? Don't have MMS nor GPS? Nevermind with it, it should be a winner.
(Please understand my irony...) And frankly this behavior slowly is changing. I hope so.

Lg keep trying to compete in the mobile market but never seem to get over the final hurdle,there phones might impress the younger generation because of the looks,but the experienced mobile users still keep away from there mobile because of the reliability on Lg mobiles,they have really got alot to do at Lg to really compete with the Others

Oh dear yeh nice looking handset but have they sorted out the software. "oh is that the new lg phone",. "why yes", "looks so nice verry sexy", " yes but i cant use it to make calls or texts as it freezes on startup and stops when im making a call", "oh well thats fine it looks nice i will buy 1".
as per that convo yeh buy it if u like the looks and expect to repair it a few times based on a software upgrade. been selling lg for years now and honest truth we repair more lg handsets than anything the biggest used to be sony but now lg have taken that award.
