Did LG already released a software update for gpad 8.3???..the non gp edition
A truly pathetic device:
Slower than SnapDragon 800 which was released 2 (two!) years ago.
Just 2 gigs of RAM.
A pathetic battery.
They could have used SnapDragon 808, added 3gigs of RAM, included a better WiFi adapter and improved battery by charging $50 more. Yet here it is - another underpowered tablet which is obsolete before it gets released.
one less customer for LG I was waiting for the new g pad 8.3 will be inproved with better RAM and CPU, but I can see just a few changes and almost same SoC, nope, I´ll keep my old g pad 8.3 it works perfect at this time, dont have to waste more money on a "new" tablet, as I can see its just a car with a new paint job, poor LG shame on you!!!
Anonymous, 22 Dec 2015Dude the sd800 is more powerful than the sd615maybe gpu, not cpu
Depending on the price, this or the NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1 will be my next tablet.

Rubbish spec for something going to be released now. My 2013 nexus 7 is basically identical apart from the soc.
I've been waiting 2 years for this?!? It's high time that my G pad 8.3 is getting a replacement cause I can't play games on it, and the new version hardly gets an upgrade? So many whys. Over the summer i read articles about a new G pad with a Snapdragon 805, fake rumors as usual I see.
Anonymous, 22 Dec 2015does it have call function?if they come with LTE option so yes, it can brought call function...but maybe this dont will come with LTE option so no call's on this.
according to LG sd615 is power enough for 5.1.1 but sd800 of the g flex is not capeble for lollipop update. shame on u LG
i remember my first G PAD 8.3, SD600, 2GB RAM, 16 Internal...the same as this tablet have, why LG? Why you dont make a better spec tablet?
Maybe SD810, 3GB RAM and 32 Internal??? this will be a monster...because this is the same as 2 years ago!
