Andrei, 11 Apr 2010http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webkit Check out on the right of the page to see developed webkit.Still webkit was not developed by apple it was developed by KDS technology.
The the company say apple did not want to go through with the development of the webkit the right way, then the company stop the development & apple built their owned version which is half ass.

              "History

WebKit was originally derived by Apple Inc. from the Konqueror browser’s KHTML software library for use as the engine of Mac OS X’s Safari web browser and has now been further developed by individuals from the KDE project, Apple Inc., Nokia, Google, Bitstream, Torch Mobile and others.[2]"

Apple released it as Open Source and used it FIRST with Safari, later on Nokia used it as the basis of the S60 browser and Google used it for Chrome.

Good to see that Nokia still release their devices with plenty of hardware flaws (N85 N95, rocking slider. N97, camera lens cover scratching the lens itself and now N900 micro USB)

Poor poor Nokia users. Terrible service. xD
