Anonymous, 23 Dec 2015Our insatiable lust for more power has led to this...At the same time, this arms race also promotes laziness on the app developers' side, because the latter know they can get away with not simplifying code.
Lol, 23 Dec 2015So a heatpipe is a new invention by Sony?Engineering design, mate.
Anonymous, 23 Dec 2015Our insatiable lust for more power has led to this...You mean Android SoC makers lust for high clockspeeds (and with high clockspeeds comes high voltages).

My god Motorola, how about you focus on getting us timely updates instead? The Motorola Android experience is as close to stock as anybody, but it takes MONTHS to roll out updates, if we get them at all.
This is just stupid. Now smartphones need cooling. Processor of 1.5 GHZ 8 core can give you performance than most 2.5 GHZ CPU without any heat if the OS make 8 core useful enough and plus it can saves you battery life. 1.5 GHz CPU can be more powerful if right components, materials and schemes are used than those heat producing 2.7 GHz CPU. These 2.5 Ghz, 2.7 Ghz are just marketing tricks for people to think that they have something so powerful. I would like these companies start using their brain and make our smartphones more useful and put features just what people need and not using some marketing tricks to sell your products.

sony z5 working with 2 heat pipe
GreekGodMV, 22 Dec 2015Not soon water cooling is already being used in some of Microsoft and Sony phones and also in ... morethe water-cooling type i meant was like in a PC.
Spitting out heat constantly.

AnonD-411799, 22 Dec 2015samsung chip is used by samsung itself. they dont provide for others(i dont know). well they m... morelook at exynos product details. they want others to use it. but no one is interested
AnonD-462236, 23 Dec 2015and what about finger print sensor The fingerprint sensor is shite when you see the Lumia 950 iris recognition in action. That stuff is smooth, fast and works no matter how dirty your fingers might be (you'll never get your eyes dirty, right?). I hated the fingerprint sensor's lack of accuracy so much I disabled it in place of the stock Android pattern lock.
wish they put Qualcomm's finger print solution, i.e, without a specific place to put the finger
and what about finger print sensor
If motorola use Exynos 7420 there would be no need to have cooling system.
Besides nowadays even the laptops are coming without a cooling system
