wer, 22 Dec 2015what is your phone mate ? I didn't had any problems with 1st gen on my Note 3 I got the first gen very early and alot of function and other features wasn't available yet(i guess many updates fix many things over the time). So it isn't really a phone problem, i believe. And i was using a S3 back then. Xperia Z3 now, but my Z3 got some problem with the nexus player too, the nexus player are such a big disappointment!

After u tried out the first- gen chromecast, i absolutely hate how stupid it is to just cast a YouTube videos to your TV from( or any other video streaming service). And i have to returned it the next day. So later on i got the nexus player for a cheaper price from bestbuy and i have to say. I'm disappointed on the nexus player too, and i have no idea how it can cost $99+ at first. It is slow and lag!
But the second-gen chromecast. I have to give it to this one. It work much better and smooth and fast. Now i can cast my whole phone screen to the TV without lag and slowing down( the first-gen got a little heat problem, but this one fix it). I can now cast just the videos or the whole phone screen to my TV, i can play game on my TV.
