Is it an iDevice.....lolI have an LG G4 that is amazing. But why would I feel pride over owning it? I wasn't part of designing or making it in some way. I didn't win it in any contest.
You have to be pretty lame if you need to use your phone as a status symbol.

So the smartphone of the year reward, according to gsm arena readers, is thr phone that only gained better looks compared to its predecessor (with the usual techincal yearly increase that ever smartphone enjoys yearly) but lost two of its most important features (micro sd and removable battery) that samsung and android fanboys have been laughing at iphones for the past 8 years... Well, i guess they are happy that the S6 is the most iphonish android ever.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus would be my choice,Samsung as done a superb software job on the batterylife on this phone,as all my previous Samsung phones batteries would drain a lot more faster than the edge plus,this is were Samsung have really got Improve themselves in 2016 there Software section,as they always trail with Software updates,which seems so odd for a leading phone maker,Why?can"t they sort there software out is just ridiclous,Samsung ought to get some old Nokia employees in as Nokia are the Best with Software

The galaxy S6 is a horrible phone give me my s4 or s5 back. Very disappointed I might as well by an iphone. Samsung's version of the iPhone is junk. There is definitely something different it is way more glitchy. Galaxy technology is regressing anyone who voted this phone for phone of the year obviously hasn't owned an s6 long enough to find out the truth
