RejZoR, 24 Dec 2015It's so funny everyone making BIG announcements about special browsers with AdBlock and all th... moreFirefox is dead in the water. In six months, they will transition to a new UI and a new rendering engine, which will make all of your existing plugins and extensions useless, so stop recommending it for the plugins and extensions. Vimperator, NoScript, etc. will NOT work under the new Firefox. Firefox the company has run Firefox the project into the ground. It is dead, dead, dead. Stop recommending it. They tried to become Google Chrome, and lost their userbase in the process.

Use Lightning browser from the F-droid repository, not from the Play Store. Built-in adblocking. Open-source browser. There you go.

On chrome for windows adbock doesn't work properly only blocks half the ads and it seems that Google has some deal with my isp giving 5x speed on YouTube sometimes but YouTube just does not work with adblock on.

It's so funny everyone making BIG announcements about special browsers with AdBlock and all this and Firefox has been here for ages supporting exact SAME add-ons you can use in desktop Firefox. Yeah, this means you can use AdBlock Plus, AdBlock Edge or uBlock in mobile Firefox. Like for months if not years already XD It's been available for so long I don't even know when they actually gave us support for add-ons in mobile Firefox XD

that's a nice news, ads requires a lot of mobile data and battery life.
