With God help and googles search, finally some good news :). Factory reset would solve the problem but you will loose your data. So please take backup of your data . For those , whose factory reset button is greyed out to reset, try this : http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-178351/

I cleared cache partition after taking backup of data. That din't help. This phone is turning out to be good for nothing. Factory Reset button is disabled for my phone. Not sure what else can be tried. If anyone got read of this problem, please post the involved steps ASAP.

Problems related to home button, notification bar, incoming calls can solved by factory reset of your phone. But by doing this you'll be losing all your data,so you need to back up! My phone had these problems and now it's perfectly fine!

I am facing the exact same problem like many others. Drop down notifications not working. Not receiving any calls. Home button, multi tasking buttons not working. Now, my mobile is not worth using it. I cannot do anything. I'm getting mad. Pls anyone give solution fast.

I am also facing same problem (not receiving any call/message, notifications not coming, lock not working) . Mine in Moto 2nd Gen. Although upgrade to Marshmallow happened some time back but started facing problems from 13th May, 2016.

I am same problem after the update. Touch recognition is reduced. Home button and multitask button not working. The notification bar is not showing anything.

While scrolling down, i accidentally end up tapping a link. This never happened in lollipop. Touch sensitivity reduced a lot. Can't use backspace and erase 4-5 letters at a time

Ever since I got the latest update phone is not recognising the SD card at all. This is getting on my nerves as most of my data is SD card. It recognises only for seconds even if I remove and connect the SD card. Please fix this problem soon.
