that sounds great. unbeliveable and surprising me.it has full specs for midrange.
5.5" fhd display with great camera.the main cam has OIS and front is ultrapixel.battery is big enough and most amazing news is that this midrange can record 4K video. very good cpu,ram,battery,screen,2 cameras and .... thanks htc.
and some crazy comment don't reduce the nicety and goodness of htc x9.some people said about xiaomi and .... it's better you stop and go for xiaomi and let we choose htc. every body know who you are and what's the reason of your post.....

still only 3000mah battery pack. i though 3000mah is last year spec. even Samsung finally step into 4000mah . other big company is aim 5000mah for 2016 spec.

In the first place HTC should have come up with this 5.5" model instead the 5". Then the perception will be different. Or they can come up with A9 & A9 plus simultaneously as other makers do.

Htc & Samsung are having tough times selling their flagship phones which were prices aro... moreAs long as it works fine and suits needs, that's when a phone should be bought. Finally more consumers are getting more practical - realizing that mid-range phones can do most of their tasks fine. And many of us won't use even half of a flagship's power most of the time (except some games, which were always notoriously greedy).
We need to understand that flagships were designed to be a showcase of the latest and greatest of tech advancements. Value for money is not the priority here - mid-rangers are the ones that prioritize it.

This should be a very attractive package if not for Xiaomi and the likes spoiling people with basement pricing and flash sales strategy.
Unless they come up with a front loudspeaker (better yet, stereo) I hardly give them a look.
Been using a low end device with single front loudspeaker and can not go back to back speaker...

so many million phones out there but nothing cans till beat the price and features of Moto X pure .. kind of unlocked phones in 2015.
For almost same price u get 21 mp cam, 5.7 inch quad hd screen. and better qualcomm 808 processor.
