Yes they do... because most android users are app addicts they download a lot of applications on there phones( especially games)... yes thats why it will lag overtime but if you have android phone or any phones but dont have any applications installed yes your phone will not slow overtime... android has lots of applications fyi... windows market still lacks apps a lot of them...

When a phone like Lumia 730 could be bought for INR 12,000/- and a similar Snapdragon 400 powered Lumia 640 for 7,999/- it is apparent that Microsoft wants to discontinue it's India operations by offering Lumia 550 at INR 9,000+ ! ! !

This is a good move by Microsoft. Lumia 5xx series is meant for everyone's use. A cost of ₹ 9,300 which will soon reduce over the next 2 months and on top of that you can use cashback or coupon code to further reduce the price, is a good move. This phone will soon be available for ₹ 8,000 and still give similar performance to Lumia 640 because the CPU and chipset is virtually the same.

Last year's mid-range CPU's power is now available in low end and last year's upper mid-range CPU will now come in Mid range at the same price.

For the price this is being offered at, it has good features. At this price you will only get bad Android phones like Moto E which gets slow over time due to Android OS and has only 8 GB memory out of which 4 GB is already filled. Mi phones are available but they are already slow due to heavy MiUI OS.

My 2+ year old Lumia 925 is showing battery issue which is expected due to battery technology. Before the cost of Lumia 950 reduces to acceptable levels, I can buy this phone as a mid-way phone.

Why Microsoft? You don't make something special for us? Lacks many essential applications for your OS moreover in terms of hardware you hope many return for a little thing you manufacture. But still I am admired by your designs... Design only...
