The best thing Nokia could do is sell their company to HTC, Apple or someone that can do a better job. This is a joke now. Apple has made 3 iPhones and made so much money from it in a short time than Nokia in 8 years and they keep getting better. Nokia has been around a lot longer and still insist with these sh*t devices. BlackBerry are doing a better job lately.
No one cares about ovi maps and plastic qwerty phones people want HD screens, HD recording, higher than 8 megapixel cameras, built in divX player, 3D graphics, great apps, the list goes on and on. Instead they just waste money on budget phone no wonder their flagship stores have closed down

Agni, 13 Apr 2010PerfectThanks, my gf is hardcore Nokia gal. From over a month I was looking for a good Nokia (or any other set) for her but I go crazy seeing nothing much is out there specially from Nokia. She likes X6 but its built quality draw her back. XpressMusic series are "ugly" although she never use that word but I know she wanted to say that. Couple of other sets that she heard was good turned out not that good. Finally, day before yesterday she got herself E72. Although it was costly for her. I wanted her to use a full touchscreen set but well, I wish X6 would come with better build quality.

Here I do want to add that yes N900 and E72 are two good sets that shines very well. They need to get it better before end of this year.

The last Communicator was June 2007; Last luxury phone was December 2007.
All we got was the N97 with a cheap resistive screen and re-hashed N97 Mini

All 3 phones waist too much space around the edges , buttons and the frame ... the screens could have been mych larger.

Nokia you are loosing the plot..

I am not Nokia's guy so I don't care much what they are bringing on the table however What I think Nokia is doing is to go for mid-end sets with hint of advance features using advance-like and running forms. Example that E72 is very popular yet not very affordable by mid-range buyers. Now they can jump to it while there is no other option out there yet.

They will secure the business of this end while finishing up their new Symbian and N8-00. For a business buildup it is not bad move if these 3 have a good build quality.

High end nokia phones will come with Symbian ^3 and Meego (MIDs). These three were introduced to a completely different section of people. Don't compare high-end smarthphones to these. Before commenting or comparing just check out the prices and you will realize that they are aimed at low-end messaging category.
