I still find it hard to believe Pokemon is still this popular, I was around when it came out many many many years ago and was of course apart of the craze, but honestly? It's 2015!

I asked ... moreYes, most younger kids prefer touch screen phones as gaming devices, but once older, some will realise that touch screen gaming with no tactile feedback is like playing a driving game with a keyboard, ie, crap experience
Hence, why there is a market for real video games console, I bet you the Nintendo mobile games are watered down version of their games, with pay to win
That's why I teaching my young kids real games with ps3 toro let's party, ps vita tearaway, psp genso, ps2 pop n music and ps3 rock band, they can also play educational mobile games as well

They are a great throw-back to the old Gameboy, GB Pocket and GB Colour, though the display on the 2DS lets it down as it is sooooo poor and blurry with a horrible viewing angle. Better is to get a new 3DS on sale and not use the 3D.
