No thanks, I'd rather not have it.
Apple have gone crazy i've just read this from BBC that apple are limiting the number of tools softwares writters are supposed to use to write apps for the iphone to only 3 this is a bad move many programmers have voiced their concerns and steve jobs said that he is doing that to controll the quality of the apps on their app store and any software that violates their rules will be rejected. Many programmers have moved against this and others have made up their mind to no longer write apps for the iphone. From the looks of this the apps store will soon be overtaked by the android and ovi and this spells doom to apple.Bad move Steve Jobs
The best step yet for Apple!
As they say, iphone always the last to have.
What? iphone now only can have opera mini, I remember my good old SE K750 can install Opera mini. Now u only can get the opera mini? Don't you think is a little too late?
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2010You obviously never used Nokia phones. Oh wow you got pinch-zooming! So what? As long as a pho... moreUmmm, do you see Nokia anywhere on this article? Jealous of our iphone? Stick with your Nokia device and be happy with it and stop wasting your time in iphone threads :)
Uploaded it and it is indeed faster than Safari, but I think I'm still sticking with Safari. I only see two benefits with opera. Speed, and somehow text and photos has better clarity, but screen rendering and touch response is sloppy at best. I think for iphone 2g and 3g, it would be worth the switch, but for 3gs users, you're better off sticking with Safari.
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2010What's that about not supporting you tube?!? Get real, apple boy.
IT SUPPORTS YOU TUBE, even... moreWTF man, sony makes phones since 15 years+
This is apple's 4th year, give them a little credit will you?!
[deleted post]I didnt realise that this version of Opera supported multitouch.
After a few hours play, this is definitely better than the version I had on my N86. Man, Im glad I decided to go touchscreen.
What's that about not supporting you tube?!? Get real, apple boy.
IT SUPPORTS YOU TUBE, even with 4.2 version i watched videos on my SE c702.

imac, 13 Apr 2010hey nokia boy do u have multi touch n pinch zooming by the way how is the music player it look... moreYou obviously never used Nokia phones. Oh wow you got pinch-zooming! So what? As long as a phone zooms in somehow it gets the job done, so who cares how you do it? Also use a N900 and see who is behind in technology then. Most of your web pages are optimized for mobile viewing, while the N900 displays every single website just how you would see it on the desktop (including flash). You guys could of been enjoying this also, Mozilla admitted that they made a iPhone version of Firefox, but Steve Jobs won't let you have it. Something about his policy of not having multiple apps that do the same thing, but so much for that if he let Opera in. So all your bickering at Nokia fans is pointless because we obviously have a way better internet experience on our phones. Instead of aiming your hate at us, why don't you aim it at Steve Jobs so he would quit being stuck up and let you have a great mobile internet experience.
imac, 13 Apr 2010hey nokia boy do u have multi touch n pinch zooming by the way how is the music player it look... moremultitouch gimmick welcome to the real world
a sad day for apple indeed lol
now everyone that gets opera will have the symbian experience
will now know how fast all nokia phone web speed
Speaking of speed, yes, the Opera Mini for iPhone may be very fast. But considering privacy (e.g. account name, password which will be processed in the Opera server), I don't think it's a good way to browse the web like that, except for some certain circumstance. For example, you nearly exceed the limit of your phone data plan.
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2010too bad my nokia doesn't struggle with any of those things.nokia wins!
Very fast i like it!
Using it right not it is just an ok browser.... Great for 2g network but with wifi and 3g network safari kicks its a$$
