I am a big fan of blackberry and their devices was an help for running my business but I can say now that BB is done now. I purchased the priv and I could not use it for 2 days, nothing work as it should be. I really feel very sorry about BB but it's the time to say goodbye for their devices, they keep changing the strategies and they seems to like starting from scratch and it won't help them, and I really don't know from where they get business decisions or recommendations and the fact that they still think their selling value to have a physical keyboard scares me, if they have 1%market share they will lose it with their new Android strategy, they need to learn that their old days won't go back easily unless they start a proper innovation

Had a blackberry priv last week went straight back to iPhone 6s. The build quality isn't good and the software was so buggy and slow. Stick to iPhone if you are looking to swap

AnonD-362866, 30 Dec 2015It's made by BB. It has zero dev support. so again... who cares?I was replying to your comments saying "BB os was cool a century ago". We weren't talking about BBos, we were talking about BB10. Only been our for a few years. And, it is a great OS. If you've never used it, then don't talk smack about it. You like iOS, that's great. So do I. I love my 6S plus, but that doesn't mean every other OS sucks. You're just, and I'm being an honest realist here, extremely ignorant.

Every phone goes down in price after it's release.

Honestly, I know and own iphones and I recently purchased a xperia z5 because I didn't want to take my passport anywhere rugged on the weekends. The sony has a BlackBerry virtual keyboard and the BlackBerry launcher installed. An iphone is not even in same ballpark performance and speed wise. What I am missing is the BlackBerry hub and the BlackBerry universal search. The Priv has that as well as everything that's not available on my q10 or passport. Priv blows any other ios or android device out of the water. On the condition you actually learn how to get the most out of it and don't need something waterproof like the sony.

I dont like ios but i am not wasting my time to write against that. If you have any genuine idea about ios, share it. Blackberry has a no of features which you cant even dream of. Better play games on your iphone.

I would never degrade myself and settle for an Android of any kind regardless of who makes it. If it runs android, run away. Please remember this is my subjective opinion.

AnonD-362866, 29 Dec 2015It runs Android. That will forever be a big no no. Regardless of what specs it has. What's it supposed to run? BB10 is a great OS, but developers didn't wanna develop apps and games for it. So consumers didn't want to get BB10 phones. The next logical step for BlackBerry was to run Android, so that they could have the app selection.

Blackberry has dared to be different from the herd. Every phone since the first Iphone looks pretty much the same with minimal difference be it in a screen size or a small push button in center. Iphone is sort of a leader of herd of sheeps, if one falls in river the rest will follow suit.

BB is still one of the best mobile phones manufactured. The quality and craftsmanship is apparant as soon as you pick one up. People who care about their privacy use it, politicians use it, Presidents and prime ministers use it,and ordinary people are beginning to use it . Watch out Apple.

If this Blackberry is "last decade" then the LG G4 should be as well. BUT, I dunno any phones with a Snapdragon 808 ten years ago.
