Why it isnt expensive ?I have to admit this is true. Somehow Xiaomi is treating some countries like they're dumping ground. In Indonesian forum, they asked "Do you want Xiaomi Mi4i 32GB?". I replied back "Do you want to sell your products in Indonesia?". What makes them think that Indonesian customers only interested in their cheapest offerings, while others like Samsung, Iphone, Asus, Lenovo, have their top of the line product available (and they sell like hot cakes too!!!) ? Did they really think nobody can afford their Mi4 32GB ?
Iphone 6 64GB and Samsung S6 Edge 64GB which cost 4x is sold in everywhere in shops & online stores. In fact, my brother, sister & 3 nieces are all Iphone 6 64GB users.
And no manufacturers ever asked such a stupid question when they launch their product in this country.
Such a question is frankly unbelievably stupid, and it makes me wonder whether Xiaomi thinks Indonesian customers can only afford a meal every day.
They should come to this country and see with their eyes how every world-class brand boutiques like LV, Hermes, Armani, Dior, Versace etc keep opening new stores throughout the country, selling a stupid bag for $2000-$10000.
And then I saw them asking if Indonesian customers interested in their $250 smartphone?
How should I react to that ?

QC has an exclusive tie up with Samsung so other OEM cannot release smartphones with SOC 820 before that time frame. And yeah they may release in China first and to the rest of the world later as well.

There is something strange. People say Mi 5 will be 5.2" or even 5.5", but do you realize that there have been a lot of sellers offering Xiaomi Mi 5 case in aliexpress & alibaba and even in my country. And they are all 5" !!!

How does it matter?? They won't release it in India...... India would most probably get a Mi4 prime with the same specs as that of mi4 but with a dual sim suppose. Xiaomi treats India as a dumping ground. The good ones only for China.

So most high-end phones of the 2016 will use the Snapdragon 820. Hopefully they've solved the overheating problems.

ALL THE TIME.I am more senior and have more comments and likes than you have but my point is that ppl love to bash Chinese brands just because they are providing good quality phones for fraction of the price of other flagships for these undeserving people and people still bash them.

Complaints about Xiaomi's copying someone's design are usually from those who do not have Xiaomi, but have Samsung or Iphone. They don't like the fact that they had spent so much money for their unit, while others can enjoy having better phones with better specs, better look at a fraction of their spending.
That's the only reason why they keep bashing anything other than their own brand. It's all about E.G.O.
